Evolving Possibilities

Yesterday I talked to the Assistant Manager of South Jordan City in charge of overseeing Financing and Plans for ideas like mine to become reality. He mentioned the plan for a South Valley Multi-Cultural Center.
Which has been approved by the County Government and the State to be built. Basically it will be a Multi-Use Facility. There are plans for a Community Theater there, as well as classrooms where Voice and Piano Lessons can be taught as well as other subjects. There will also be room for Museum exhibits and things like that.
So, when I asked him what I should do about my idea, he said, You should come to a meeting in October and ask if the Children's Museum can be added to this already approved plan. It already has ZAP Zoo Arts and Programs taxes associated with it and Political leaders supporting it being build. And he said he hopes that it should be built in South Jordan. Rio Tinto will hopefully help develop it there so it can be, since they are helping to fund and develop the SVCC too.
This is where it gets tricky- how do I develop my idea on paper, using software or other means to show and convince important people of what it will mean to our society?
Most importantly, what kind of an environment would you like in a Children's Museum within a Multi-use building? What sorts of things would be educational to your children that would also help them have fun while learning? Suggestions?
Weigh in please. Chelsea

Would you like a Children's Museum in South Jordan?

Welcome to my new blog. I am wondering how many of our residents, and of residents in nearby cities would enjoy a Children's Museum in our area? It would be a similar environment to the Discovery Gateway feel. Also, there is potential for a Theater for our Community Actors to put on shows and Venues to be in the same building. Our community actors are in need of a place to perform.

My polls are on the sidebar. Please spread the word so a good amount of our community can have a voice!
Thank you for visiting  Polls for South Jordan and for your Opinion!
